Baker Group, a full-service specialty contractor, is pleased to announce Daryld Karloff has accepted an expanded role as Executive Vice President-Building Services.  In this new role, Karloff will focus on growing Baker Group’s existing building market.  He will oversee the business units within Baker Group that primarily focus on building owner relationships including; Service, Automation, Fire/Security/Parking and Electrical business units.  The focus is helping facility managers improve comfort and security while reducing long-term operating costs.

Karloff brings over 30 years of hands-on facility operations experience to the team.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Mechanical Contractors Association (MCAA), International Real Estate Management Association (IREM), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC).  He is also on the Board of Directors for InsideIQ. 

Karloff has worked in numerous leadership roles at Baker Group since 1996.  “We believe Daryld will improve the synergy of our Business Unit teams calling on the same set of building owners for technology upgrades and service support,” said BJ Baker, Chairman and CEO.  “There is a significant growth opportunity in this area for Baker Group.”
