This collaborative design/build project was completed in 2011, and is the headquarters for Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa.

Friday, June 18, 2004 was the groundbreaking for one of Iowa’s largest construction projects. This project is over 900,000 square feet of office and support facilities, including a central chilled water plant capable of delivering over 3,700 tons of cooling to three office buildings and a multi-use meeting and cafeteria building.

This 13-story, 280,000 square feet commercial mixed-use tower is located in downtown Des Moines at 10th and Walnut streets.

Delta Dental of Iowa desired to relocate its existing services from their Ankeny location to expand into a larger, energy efficient Johnston facility. Baker Group was chosen to provide the Mechanical, Sheet Metal, Temperature Controls and Architectural Sheet Metal work.

John Deere Credit constructed this three-story office addition and parking structure on its campus in Johnston, Iowa to accommodate their growing work force. The additional building is roughly 143,000 sq/ft of new open office and conference rooms.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage consolidated operations with the construction of a new $70 million corporate headquarters. The facility included a six-story office building and a semi-hardened underground data center.

The building is served primarily by one central Air Handling Unit (AHU) located in a mechanical penthouse on the roof of the building.

Baker Group was selected as the mechanical contractor for this state-of-the-art corporate office for NCMIC. The building utilizes variable air volume heating and cooling systems and energy recovery ventilator (ERV) to temper outdoor air.

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company relocated to their new 82,000 square foot corporate headquarters building in the spring of 2005.
