The Mercy West Lakes Hospital is a seven story, 85 bed facility in West Des Moines, Iowa. There is approximately 250,000 square feet of finished space with another 70,000 square feet of enclosed shell space for future expansion.

To meet the growing health care needs of Central Iowans, Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines renovated their surgery facility with remodeled Surgery Rooms, PACU and CS/ICU areas.

Broadlawns Medical Center chose Baker Group to modernize and add new capabilities and capacity to their new facility and to their 40 year old pre-existing building.

Baker Group was responsible for the design and installation of piping, plumbing, HVAC, sheet metal, and temperature controls to complete this 96,000 square foot addition.

Mercy Medical Center responded to the expanding population of Ankeny by building a major new ambulatory medical campus to partner with the excellent health care professionals already established in the area.

This facility is a combination office, therapy center and respite care center for children with special health care needs. This 40,000 square foot facility in Johnston was built to consolidate their many locations into one central location.

Baker Group provided complete mechanical design/build services for this new surgery center, featuring five operating suites and designed to add a sixth.

Wolfe Clinic’s choice of sites further solidifies “The Medical Mile” in West Des Moines. Wolfe had outgrown their current clinic and the new facility allows them to add physicians and increase the level of eyecare and surgical procedures for the next decade.
