Alex Wolf has been named Vice President of the Mechanical Business Unit at Baker Group.

Wolf joined Baker Group in 2019 as a Project Manager in the Mechanical division. A 2013 graduate of the Mechanical Engineering program at Iowa State University, Wolf has displayed from his start at Baker Group a grasp of the design-build and design-assist process that enabled the management of several multimillion-dollar projects.

His client-centric approach and attention to detail are critical in the position, where he leads all aspects of the unit, from design-build through budgeting and construction.

“I feel humbled by the support I’ve received from people who I’ve come to respect and admire over the last few years,” Wolf says. “We talk about core values a lot, and the first one, Care About People, couldn’t be any more evident.

“I’m excited to take on the new role and fill my part of supporting others at Baker Group and its customers.”

Wolf’s transition to his new position will take place over the next couple months as he finishes some of the projects he is currently involved with.

“In his time at Baker Group Alex has established himself as a valued project manager and team leader,” says Joel Veenstra, Executive Vice President of the Mechanical Business Unit. “We look forward to his continued growth in this position.”
