The Iowa Clinic, a multi-specialty medical clinic, asked Baker Group to be responsible for the design and installation of piping, plumbing, HVAC, sheet metal, and temperature controls to complete the 96,000 square foot addition to the pre-existing 80,000 square foot West Des Moines, Iowa facility.
The facility expansion included a three story atrium with a smoke evacuation system, new CT, and MRI areas, a sleep lab with medical gases and a small café. A second MRI was replaced in the existing building during this project as well.
Baker Group participated in coordination of the mechanical infrastructure for all of the new and existing medical equipment for the facility.
