In this Design/Assist downtown project, Baker Group was responsible for mechanical, piping, sheet metal, and integrated controls, and security.  This  office building has nine floors of office space, a penthouse, and an underground parking garage.  There is also a nine floor atrium, a water feature, and a plant feeder system capable of sustaining live plants year round.    In addition to electric hydronic heat, Baker Group also installed; chilled water systems, domestic water systems, a smoke evacuation system, stairwell pressurization system, garage ventilation system, and a sidewalk snow melt system.

During construction of this project, Baker Group successfully handled the challenges associated with downtown construction.  A high level of control on deliveries and multiple scheduled crane times eased the limited on-site storage and construction space.   

Baker Group extended the Wells Fargo Skyview system to their Northstar operations in 2006 with an Enterprise Level system.  This included the addition of Revolving Doors, Optical Lanes, and additional Command and Control Modifications.  Baker Group installed elevator control, data room control, and interfaced all of this with existing equipment.  Baker Group also interfaced into their Overhead Door system with wireless wiegend devices and wireless car tags.   As part of the system, Baker Group interfaced into their fire system to unlock doors as needed.
