Clarke County Hospital Respiratory Clinic Upgrade

Clarke County Hospital in Osceola, Iowa, recently expanded its Respiratory Clinic to address the growing demand for specialized care, creating a modern facility that improves both patient experience and staff efficiency.

The project included:

  • Advanced HVAC systems anchored by 20 variable air volume (VAV) boxes

  • A new packaged rooftop unit

  • Roof-mounted exhaust fans to ensure precise comfort control, air quality, and year-round safety across exam rooms, offices, and waiting areas

Baker Group was selected for its deep familiarity with the hospital’s systems as the existing automation provider, allowing for a seamless integration of new equipment with existing infrastructure.

Despite the challenges of working in a live healthcare environment and navigating supply chain delays, Baker Group’s automation, and mechanical teams minimized disruption, coordinated closely with hospital staff, and sourced alternatives to stay on schedule.

Delivering HVAC design, automation, and mechanical controls, Baker Group helped create a reliable and safe solution that enhances Clarke County Hospital’s ability to provide high-quality respiratory care.
