The Des Moines Airport in Iowa is a medium size yet full-service airport serving the Midwest. Its primary need was to automate and speed up all parking operations inclusive of transient parkers, employees, and contract parkers.

The Airport looked to Baker Group to upgrade and replace their aging Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS). Baker Group designed, engineered, and installed the Parking and Revenue Control System using leading edge products offered by SKIDATA. The SKIDATA equipment was installed at 9 entry and 10 exit lanes and allows users to pay via credit card at all exit plaza locations in the airports 4 different parking lots. Cashier payments can also be received at the main exit plaza as well as Economy 1 and Economy 3 lots.

Baker Group's certified technicians service the Des Moines International Airport's PARCS as well as 5 other facilities throughout Iowa and Kansas.
