Des Moines University Building #5 Renovation

Baker Group provided complete mechanical, sheet metal, and temperature control design/build services for this complicated renovation.  This 60,000 square foot, 3 story building was completely renovated in 12 months.  Challenges faced by Baker Group included utilizing an existing 11’0” floor-to-floor clearance for HVAC and piping.  Classrooms, offices, labs (including an anatomy lab), and a small auditorium were features included with this project.  The mechanical scope of work was completed for $2.2 Million.
